Default MORE POWER: Cats v Plenum

Hey all,
Which mod do you think gives the greater increase in HP hi-flow cats or a Plenum. Going to add one of these so for the mean time want the one that provides the greater gain
Thanks.....

You're looking at overall HP gains or more peaky gains?

Well, based on my experience, the Plenum will increase HP more towards the 5K and above; whereas, the CATS allow more midrange and up. Both will complement each other well.

Your pick.

Hehehe, only if you left it on there when you take it in for warranty work . Besides, in the US, there's the Magnusson-Moss Act that says the dealer has to prove that the modification caused the damage prior to denying warranty work.

Don't know if you have something similar in Australia.

Do the plenum first. It's still the best bang for the buck out there

RT High Flow Cats will give you a HP Gain to the wheels across the full RPM range...

the current plenums give you some gains down low, and a little more peak HP gains...
