There is another forum on this topic right now "best headers for HP". I think they said that the DC headers were tested at about 14 HP. I have them and like them alot. They look great and I can feel the power in the mid to upper range.

Better than Borla design-wise. Nismo and Crawford are better yet. Just comes down to price vs performance. I'm cost conscious so am going with DC.

The only dyno of the Dc Sports header to date was done by a member here that was sponcered by Dc Sports for fitment testing, he never posted the dyno plots and since he is tied to the company he is not a independent source.

In all fairness I really do want a member that is not tied to Dc Sports here to have a baseline dyno and then dyno the Dc Sports headers.

For what it's worth, the Dc Sports headers were recently dyno'd on a G35 sedan in Super Street magazine. When dyno'd with a Dc Sports true dual on that sedan, the COMBO made 14hp and 5ft.

I'd buy Nismo headers direct from the company that makes them for Nismo, BRM they sell for $795 in stainless. http://www.brmusa.com/headers.htm

Independent Nismo header dyno here 11.6hp 18.5 ft

they are actually very nice compared to some other headers out there... very nice welds and bends... the headier piping isnt that large but it is still a very nice equal lenth header... larger diamater tubing then the borla and the borla are not equal length...

i would rank these with the stillen headers...

nismo are still the best IMHO...

That is interesting, if you look at the dynos that were posted by the guy that has these headers, they don't show much improvement in torque. But those numbers are disappointing, would like to seem some from someone.

Are you sure about the BRMs being the same thing?? Interesting alternative if it is, how did you find this out and can any of the vendors verify this???

I purchased my DC Sport headers about two months ago and they had not recived their CARB approval.
