last week i lucked out and got matt g's used borla exhaust and gutted rt cats he was selling off his 350.......been killing me to get them on and finally did this morning.

Took it to a respected local shop....the exhuast was in 3 pieces.......they had a little trouble getting some of it apart for the install but they managed.

Impressions......well its got a great low rumble to it......im surprised its not louder than it is though. Dont get me wrong, you notice its there and under throttle it sounds really sweet, but just puttering around i swear its quieter than stock. The gutted rts make a cool hiss noise too, sounds like a turbo lol. No cel lights and i can tell the car is defintely quicker, especially above about 3500.

its my birthday today, my girl got me a jwt popcharger, gonna slip it on tomorrow

this will probably be the end of my mods for a few years, at which point im seriously entertaining the twin turbo kit or ati.....unless i just get bored and try Nos.

overall very pleased with this mod, loud when you want it to be.....quiet when u dont

 

oh one thing i forgot......the tips dont quite line up perfect.....the left side is about a 1/4 or 1/2 inch farther back than the right....is this something i can fix?
they had to do alot of beating on the exhaust to get them on, can u adjust the hangers somehow to fix this or do i just live with it? U dontreally notice it unless ur standing right over top the back bumper and look down
