Unhappy Installed the pop charger and noticed no difference in sound??

Just like the title says....wtf? I thought it was supposed to make a nice whistling noise or something. So far I haven’t noticed anything. Maybe I did something wrong? Kind of disappointed really

Here is an installed pic.

Everything went perfect in the install...no problems at all. I checked all the bolts and they seem tight...any ideas?

Nice pic of install, mumra. As far as the whistle goes, it's very subtle. I need to have my window down to hear it. Do a half throttle pull in second or third and you should notice it. Also, if your engine is broken in (your engine bay looks real clean), go WOT in second to 6500 rpm and enjoy the sound!

Haha..good observation; my motor isn’t broken in yet. In fact, I just got my car last week and am already starting to mod it... Crazy I guess.... My car only has around 800mi so I'm kind of taking it easy. I did listen a little this evening and it definitely noticeable if I floor it. I still wont take it beyond 4k though until its really broken in. I guess I have to be a little more patent b4 I make my final review

The sound in second gear in my 5AT is pretty awesome and it is fun to watch it suck low flying birds into your air cleaner. You can hear it sucking in lots of air.

I have the Injen CAI and it is pretty loud, i love it... I pulled up next to an 04 330ci, going about 25-30 in first, he was about my age (18) and he thought i had a turbo... lmao

I just installed mine recently. I must say that when you step on it at around 3K in 2nd, you will notice a deep roar. Its almost stock sounding but louder and with a meaner sound.

The whistling is only noticeable when your not moving and just reving the car. Its barely noticeable when your at like highway speed. But I do hear a long whistle at times when im in 2nd coming to stop or coming out of 1st casually.

I think its a good investment considering its only around $110.
