Default Headers????

I have Nismo exhaust and want to add headers next. Can I use headers other than Nismo w it? Does it change the sound much?

you can add any set of headers you like... Having nismo exhaust does not mean that you have to have nismo headers to match...

If you are a name ***** then yes you have to have NISMO headers...

DC headers might be a good economical alternative.

PM me if you want pricing on DC or NISMO headers...

No, Nissan will not warranty these headers. They are considered to be the "NISMO R" products and will not be covered under warranty. The "NISMO S" products are however.
"R" for racing
"S" for street

Sound is definitely more aggressive with headers! A little louder and a little deeper.

Especially ones constrcted as well as the NISMO units. They are just basically pieces of piping. NISMO, Crawford are probably the best overall geomery. Stillen is up there too. What is important, however, is that even thouh the NISMO headers themselves may not be warranited, using them will not void any other part of your warranty due to the fact that they are NISMO. Good marketing strategy on the part of Nissan.

install on headers is much more then a set of high flow cats... you will get the same if not more gain out of doing the high flow cats rather then the headers...

IMHO the NISMO Headers are the nicest so far...

I have the DC Ceramic headers on my car for economical reasons... if i had the money i would have done the NISMO with no question...

DC are nice so far... some power gain.. but i know im not gonna get a ton of gain no matter which headers i put on due to the fact i have already done the rest of the exhaust system where the power was being choked up...
