Yeah your right, Nismo has too many bends. My cat replacement pipes are just resonated test pipes, so no probs there.
The Injen is completely straight through, that must be loud with test pipes. My Nismo is very loud at wide open throttle and thats with resonated pipes!

I donno if nismo would do it, more bends in the pipe, the pipes and muffler of the injen exhaust are straight pipes, with some resonating to them to get the right sound. but there are no visible baffles in the muffler that I could see. I dont think many other exhausts do that.
I currently have test pipes on my car and I will be getting the Injen SES exhaust very soon. So you are saying that I will see flames coming out of my exhaust pipes? Have you ever heard an exhaust with this combo? If so, how loud is it? With the test pipes alone, I have been told that my exhaust is VERY loud.

itll be one of the loudest exhaust combos. and yes you will see flames, if you rev to the fuel cutoff itll do it.

not like F&F flames, just a little puff.

I went Borla with XERD headers/test pipe.... it sounds good. You can't tell someone else what to get only offer an opinion. In mine, the Injen sounds raspy and japanese. The Borla absolutely sounds deeper and more aggresive. It does come in a few more pieces so I had them weld a few of the joints rather than use the clamps. You'll get a rasp with all of them if you take out the stock cats due to the double wall design and rubber insert. Mine actually goes away once it gets warm and then it's all smiles....

injen with test pipes...i LOVE it...especially when you downshift to a red light... you hear pop pop, little tiny flames, people look, i love it.

it is however VERY loud, but its a good loud. A buddy of mine posted a video on here that i made of my setup, you can see the flames.
