Did Kinetix change their phone number?
what is their stance on FI then? would boost not push up on the plenum? in a direction that now has no bracing to hold it down?
just a thought... seems like its thicker up front too(and in back, I dont see that other support on older versions), is this more flow than stock anymore?

Does anyone even have actual proof that they have changed anything in their plenum design from the original version from a structural standpoint?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see the boost pressure outlet on the front passenger corner of the Kinetix plenum--meaning that this plenum would not work very well in a forced induction setup where boost measurement is required (i.e. Vortech kit).

i could be wrong though.
I emailed Kinetix yesterday about my resonated test pipes....and what was up...
I got an email back this morning saying they were shipped! Even got a tracking #.
I feel better now...I'm sure they are just really busy.

Sometimes business get slammed with everything happening at once, and are understaffed for the volume/sales.
With the Internet, customer wants to get a reply to an email, or someone on the phone right away, when they have a problem.
I assure you, they are not going anywhere, they are just busy, and will respond as soon as they can.
They have a very good track record for customer support.
Hang tight.

No No No!!!! They have been like this for ever. I bought my test pipes back in october. Before I drove down there, i called them MANY MANY times...and they did not answer. Im telling you that when I drove down there, there were two guys sitting in the warehouse just kickin it....playing a little hackysack and hitting golfballs with some rusty clubs. Those guys are lazy as hell. I yelled at them for about 30-45min and asked him for the owner. They said that he is out of town and does not know when he will return. I asked them if they had a set of pipes and they made them right there. I returned the next day and they had them ready for me no problem. What I am trying to say is that unless you are right there in front of them, they will not make or order or get what info or part you need. There customer support sucks!!!
That sounds like two slacking employees taking advantage of the boss being out of town. This is a common occurance for companies of all sizes and the reason why a *good* supervisor on hand is always necessary.

Man, let me tell you. That guy Robert is the luckiest guy on earth to have such considerate clients like yourselves. I would say: "In the real world he would be out of business", but the fact is that this is the real world and they (kinetix) keep on trucking. No matter how many people they burn or how many provide proof of their lack of service support, there are those who will swear by and stand behind this company. The other side of the coin is Crawford (Doug Stewart). I had originally thought of buying kinetix cats because of the price issue but I endured too much frustration from the plenum buy to go through something like that again (one lost customer to kinetix). Just this week I finally bought the high flow cats from Crawford. Up until this past Monday, I had never bought one single thing from Doug. Yet I did called a few times asking him about his products. On a couple of occasions I had to leave voicemail just to get a phone call back from him within the hour. He always provided me with free invaluable feedback regarding many issues about my G35. IMO that is why I thought a company needed to do to survive in the real world. But I guess I may have to change my perception of what the real world is. BTW, I don't wish that kinetix fails. After all I own their plenum now. This is more of a open post to Robert that I hope he realizes that customer service will make his company a very successful one.

i always feared that the kinetix plenums were going to crack from day one. Plastic under the intense stress of daily driving will not hold up. You see those old cars where they use duct tape to hold up their damaged bumpers? Well imagine how thats gonna look after a while. Thank god i have my crawford plenum.
