Those DC's are good looking headers, but has anyone tried these BRM headers, they aren't too badly priced either. Are these the same as the nismos?

not good... you dont want to hit the steering column...
Nothing can compare to the "Medusa" headers

More TQ, More HP than any available header for the Nissan 350Z

I was refering to the Fujitsubo headers...
The BRM are different... the left header has a shorter collector than the right (passanger side)...
you dont see the angle difference in the picture...

NISMO best for your money if you are going all NA w/ Cams etc...
Crawford too but the install is harder...
Stillen are good too you get alot for the money...
DC Sports if you are staying NA and not doing cams... (Pipe diamater not as large but very good if running test pipes too)
BORLA ehhh... not my fav header for this car....

DC will work very well with cams....the smaller pipe diameter really has no affect at the type of power levels we are talking here (circa 300 with all the appropriate mods). The smaller pipe diameter simply keeps the power increases in the mid range, where as the units with larger diameter tend to be peakier in the rpm range.
Let me point out that Mike Edens (mjedens), with running the 268s cams found that even the "sworn by" NISMOs were severely restricting the engines breathing...
How much you might ask???
How about 30-40 ft-lbs of torque down low... That's a huge difference!!!

from the numbers I have seen, the Crawford seems to provide the goods over a wide array of setups. Are the ones pictured above their usual header? if so, whats the rationale or advantags to using seperate flanges rather than a continuous one...I can think of a few, but not sure if that was their reasoning

I have the BRM headers. The collectors looked both the same to me...didnt notice any thing diff. about them .I didnt like that the welds inside of the header on both the intake and collector sides were not ground off .I ground them off my self instead of going thru the hassle of sending them back . They fit real well

It'd be less expensive to do one straight flange all the way across, but quality was priority with these.
Phoenix - I figured it was to gaur against warpage that can come with making nice tight welds around such a large flange......with the smaller ones this is much less of a concern I am sure.
Thanks for the info......from my customers that have them, all are very happy indeed. If my engine builder likes the overall design, in light of the head buildup we are currently doing, then I may vey well end up with these
