Default Headers + Cams

I'm getting close to making my decision so if I decide to go with the headers and cam vs. a blower:

1) What is the best choice for cam + headers? I read that the NISMO headers are the wrong choice for the NISMO cams and I'm not sure but if there is a better choice so I want a combo that plays well together.

2) I would like no power loss any where but rather a gain throughout as much of the power band as possible. Is this doable?

3) How much gain are we talking about here?

4) Any other issues?

Thanks for all of your help.

mjedens experienced an increase of 35-40 more ft-lbs of torque down low when switching from the Nismo headers, to the Crawfords.

Note he is running the Tomei 268 cams...

Better know this now--any cams you do, you're going to lose some power on the bottom end. Good cams will pick up some good power midrange and keep pulling through the top end, though.

Good one! I'll call Doug @ Crawford and see if he'll pay the $600 for the axle. Come to think about it, the broken axle could have been caused by his "plenum"!

Eh, the plenum makes good power...

but the reason you snapped it was because of the HUGE gain from the headers! Admit it... you were THRILLED when you sold those NISMO headers!

Don't forget about the towing fees

Did you ever post up your before and after dyno charts with the Crawfords? I saw lots of claims and some printed #'s but no charts. I'd love to see them. Thanks.

Don't ask Mike for charts... he doesn't mess with them.

Heck, I think I'm the only one in possession of what of his dynos.... and who even knows where that went.

Just know that car is making BIG power with the Crawford package and cams.
