oh, by the way..I am interested.

And can you PLEASE tell us if you can keep the stock strut bar, or if you are planning to offer an aftermarket strut bar? I know this was originally designed for the G35...which doesnt have a strut bar...so hopefully you can still accomodate the stock 350Z bar.

The ECU will still see the same volume of air coming into the engine, just hopefully with this type of design, you'll have more consisten airflow between the cylinders. And with F/I...even better!
The problem is that intake charges are pulsed and create pressure waves and standing waves that accumulate/disperse with changing frequency based on RPM. That is why flowbench #'s can be misleading. SSR cannot hope to replicate the degree of "tune" that the Nissan Engineering dept. has achieved with a single welded chamber and flanges. I find it highly improbable that Nissan went through the time and cost to develop a lower manifold if it were not necessary. I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like a torque coffin to me.

So can you guys explain this. I found "your" intake manifold already being sold by someone else who is claiming it as their own. I think "your" turbo kit is also the one they list as theirs. They even say they manufactured these items. If I recall it was the same thing with the B15 kit you made as well. So exactly what part did you play in the design, testing, or production of "your" manifold? Heres the link... http://www.speedforceracing.com./pro...y_g35imani.php

We work on projects "together". Oh and while your at MIA check out our 10PSI Sentra Spec V Videos in the sentra turbo kit section.

Dyno #s and Testing will be completed within the next few weeks, so for these next few weeks hang tight, but you can expect the entire intake manifold to be priced at $495-$595 with no core charge.

SSR.....you and Miaplaya seem to have this strange hate hate relationship.

So can you tell me if special tuning was necessary to get this work? And dyno comparisons to stock would be awesome.....

Oh you mean the one that blew the f@ck up? Yeah I've seen the cheasy in a parking lot ricer burnout video. How bout that G35 kit? Heard it blew up too? Matter of fact I think the guy whose car it was on is selling the Turbos and manifolds in the private classifieds right now. So to date I have seen/heard of ONE car from "your" kit NOT blowing up and that was the Altima.

Yeah hate and hate more is more like it. These guys are shady IMHO. I've seen the "work" they do on a couple Sentras now and I have seen the Altima kit also in person and I'm not impressed. If you think people get upset about the support from Greddy wait till you see what kind of support you get from these guys... They did a number on their rep in the B15 community and if I can stop even ONE person from getting screwed by these guys I consider it a major success. As a matter of fact "their" kits are SO lame that when someone blows the motor boosting a B15 they call it pulling an SSR on ANY B15 page you go to. You don't have to believe me though. If you want all the proof you could ever need and then some go to www.b15sentra.net and do a search for SSR. The threads you read will be absolutley appaling.

also i believe ssr was talking about my videos...i do have videos that i did submit to him via aim...gave him a few pointers on what i believe would sew up the deal with the ssr turbo kit...like other options..like safc2 ect...and install pointers that i done to my car...

Not sure if I would ever sell it though cause I wanna be different and it would take more than just bolting it on.. Note the Radiator..

Arent you the guy who used an AAI fuel system for your kit? I think I talked to you on b15sentra. I'm glad your kit came out ok. Of course not with their fuel solution though. That was my point originally. these guys can make some BEAUTIFUL pieces (piping, manifolds, etc) But their overall solution to things is WAY off. IIRC they gave you a SplitSecond Box which made your car run like ****. (improperly tuned SS box that is). And some of the other people who orderd the kit early on from them got an S-AFC thrown at them and were told to "make it work". On the "G35 Kit" they showed here their solution to fuel management (TIming/Fuel tuning is a HUGE factor on the Z/G) was to just dump a **** load of fuel into the motor and say f@ck timing its not an issue. Only problem is that almost EVERYONE boosting a VQ has to pull timing or...BOOM. Like I said they make some pretty nice piping but their tuning and overall approach to kits is very subpar.

nah bro...i didnt use the aai system (i think the aai system would kick ***** if they upgraded injectors)...however my post is on both boards...thevboard/b15sentra....i done a fuel system on a budget basically....as a matter of fact..i done it for 250 dollars =o) shipped...just wanted to prove a point that you could go budget and still be reliable...and still have some badarse gains...

Ahh ok...yeah I remeber your thread with the rubber hose and FPR from Ebay etc....That was some pretty good work BTW. I think that if you do a lot of the work and tuning on your own this kit works well. But you shouldn't have to do this. You shouldn't have to go and buy additional stuff like that just to get your car to work. Thats why a lot of people here got pissed at ATI (REALLY subpar tuning and fuel/timing management). Even you know the crap they pulled with the first guy that had their kit. (Didn't you buy yours from someone who blew their QR?) I just dont want the fiasco from b15sentra.net to happen here you know.

I seem to remember a pretty recent post about a car idling and running like crap with that SS box. Was that you as well? Either way I'm glad your kit worked out for you. You are like one of the MAYBE two kits that actually run abd didn't blow something up. Congrats on that.

lol WERD on that...im glad too...yeah i had the SS box...i didnt like it...it didnt run very good...it sat for 2 weeks b/c of that issue...not sure if it was an install/tuning issue or what...but it runs alot better with the safc2..which i commented to ssr that i believe it would be a better option in their kit than the splitsecond unit.
