Cool Headers + Cats

I read ever with interest this forum (I live in Florence Italy)...
My first step , for my 350Z , was the Borla True Dual Cat Back....your suggestions very important for my choice...i like my Borla..
For the second step i intend to install Headers and High Flow Cats , and my choice , at the moment , look towards Crawfords products both header and cats....
Your suggestions....PLEASE....
many , many thanks...

The Crawfords are an excellent choice. I have the Cats, and love them. Their header has the best power putput (total and down low) of any of the others, but installation is tough. The engine needs to be jacked up.

But this is common problem also for all others headers , like Stillen or Nismo........i think....

I installed DC Sports, do not need to jack up the engine. I did it on jack stands, took me a whole weekend to do.

Ferenzia, I wish I were still in Italy!! Studied for a summer in Roma!! I am definetly Rome sick. I am also leaning towards Crawford for mods as they have also worked w/ TS for the ECU and would love to get all done at one time (plenum, headers, cats, reflash). Be sure to visit Duomo every chance you get, I miss it so.

Sincerely,
Rome sick Architect

i recently switched from nismo to crawford headers and noticed a little gain in the low/mid range. top felt about the same. i have Ultimate Racing cats and borla td.....very quiet setup

install of the crawford headers was a b*tch....according to my mechanic. he had to remove motor mount(s) and took him ~10 hrs.

Actually, to the best of my knowledge, only the Crawfords requires removal of the motor mounts due to their beautiful design . The NISMO, Stillen, and DC headers can be installed without "jacking up" the engine.
