Thumbs up injen true dual exhaust

hey guys just got my exhaust after the like 2 month back order wait, and i was so anxious today to get it, that i picked it up at 11 and was driving with it on my car by 1, with a huge smile on my face. I love this exhaust, how it sounds and how it looks. The craftmanship of injen is amazing, i still cant get over the welds and how perfect they are, i dont feel a crazy gain in power but maybe later when the exhausts is broken in who knows. For those who are wondering, if you have basic tools and are not dumb with tools, dont pay a shop to install this, take sometime and do it yourself, i used to work on my wrx all the time and now the z is my new project. but i must say im glad i waited, the exhaust is not annnoying in the cabin at all, when im making my long 6th gear commute from miami to they keys and back, its awesome, when i got out of the car and my friend revved it i was amazed how loud it was and that it wasnt that loud in my car, the sound is beautiful, and the way the car looks from the back when you see the 2 mufflers is so so awesome, sorry im just in such a good mood, to finally have it, install when so smoothly and easy and i want to get out of work and just rev and drive my car all night

machine welds>anything else. it is a thing of beauty. the fact that they went through the possibly excessive trouble of using polished tubing all they way through really says something about the quality.

Just curious if the injen has welds on the inside?

Many aftermarket exhausts have some rattling issues. The main culprit is the rear reinforcement brace that the exhaust passes over just in front of the rear tires. You can loosen the Injen at the cats and try to make sure you have pushed the exhaust up as much as possible, or you can purchase some decent size washers and use them as spacers to drop that brace down.

Several people have had this exhaust rub against their sway bars, causing rattling (including me). It's an easy "fix" just moving the pipe a little further up.

I've had mine on since May and I still love it (although mine's quite a bit louder with my headers).

P.S. If you're looking for engine mod suggestions, I'll mention the Crawford Plenum. Easy install.

Should be recieveing mine in the next couple days. Cant wait to get it on the car. The two reasons i went with this exhaust were

1. The gains it produces
2. The way it looks, very nice looking in my opinion

Yup I've been telling people for awhile, this is the prettiest looking exhaust out of all of them in terms of welds and finish. Its too bad you can't see the whole exhaust

If anyone wants one pm me

Had rattles too, but thanks to Jason at Performance it's GONE!!! I got from him the ff:
1.) DAT20722AF400 Black L Bracket - same exact one located on the left side, but I did not have one on the right. It pulls up the right pipe & holds it secure.
2.) DAT089111082G Nut hex
3.) DAT20651AA000 Mounting rubber bushing
4.) Flat alum spacers (6) for the black cross member located at the middle of the car underneath the 2 pipes (it needs a 1" clearance) & the spacers prevents it from hitting the pipes.

Now the sound is DEEP & PURE...no rattles!!!
