Default Xerd Header with stock exhaust

I will install my Xerd headers (350Z) with the stock exhaust. Can anybody give a review about that. Has anybody installed it with the stock exhaust? How does it sound? How good is the performance?

Sorry for my bad english I am german.

I did an independent dyno before and after with *basically* stock exhaust (B&B is very similar to stock without a resonator). I gained 16 hp at the wheels and 14 ft. lbs of torque. I had a MAJOR rasp at about 3k rpms, but it went away when I put my InJen on which has resonators.

You will have an annoyingly loud RASP if you stay with the stock exhaust at about 3-4k RPM. I replied to your PM and suggest that you read it before you install the Xerds.

A friend of mine installed it with a Borla true Dual. And he gained nothing. He said it would be better to install with stock exhaust.

I used to have XERD long tube headers installed with my Borla exhaust and gained about 19 WHP. But there is a loud raspiness between 3k to 4.5k rpm. Then I took the headers off.

Yeah i heard of loud raspiness with Borla. What I don´t understand is that Borla says they give you something about 20hp thats about 17WHP. So you gained just 2WHP with Headers? Is that correct?

If it is like that. It is definatly to expensive to buy both.
