I just checked my order via their website and it says my ss headers shipped on 08/02. I can't wait to get them! Hope this is for real

 

Nice! I just got off the phone with Summit and they said they're getting 100 sets of headers this Friday (8/06) for people who ordered them a bit after the 8/01 guys. Can't wait to get them!

Mine will be delivered on Tuesday August 3rd! Technosquare will install them on August 9th after I get back from Hot August Nights ($350.00). Can anyone tell me what they experienced (as far a difference), sound, pull etc, after Header installation? (With after market exhaust Plenum and Cats already installed).

 

When did you guys order? I ordered in may and called them and they told me 8/25. Ive been given about four ship dates and they never come through.

 

I just got off the phone with Summit, and they are shipping my headers TODAY. The letter/website said 8/20. They should get here by thursday.

they said to be that the shipment isnt coming until 8/16. These are for the SS what kinda headers did you guys order. Im starting to get really pissed off here. Im wondering if they are jerking around with me or not because im at the point of bitching at the manager.

 

I ordered SS headers. I called them lastnight and they told me that a batch was being shipped out today and another set of 100 will be coming this Friday. I thought I was going to get mine after 8/06, but I guess they shipped out earlier. I also checked my online banking account and I was just charged today. If you log onto the Summit site for your customer number, it will say "SHIPPED" in green writing.

 

I ordered the SS version. My coworker installed his SS DC Sports a couple of weeks ago. I saw them, very good quality, polised stainless, computer mandrel bent tubes with machine welds. Very sweet! I get mine tomorrow.

i got mine today and i am very impressed with the appearence of these headers. the welds are very clean and the finish is beautiful. if they perform up to par with what everyone has been saying i would be very happy. going to install this weekend so i will give my impressions of the performance aspect at that time. i am sure the wait was worth while....rw....out

Supposedly I have received my headers but since I am out of town for the moment I cannot verify they sent the correct ones. I ordered the SS version and they shipped on 07/29. The are waiting for me at my house at this very moment! I hope to God they didn't screw my order and sent me the ceramics as many of you SS people seem to have a later ship date than me.

Got my DC headers installed at StreetImage yesterday. Eric & Adam worked on it for 6 hrs. straight. These team are perfectionist & very careful w/ the car. I know as I watched the whole install. With a brand new Z, I wouldn't trust this install w/ someone inexperienced at all. They knew the step by step process, no guessing. Definitely knowledge that can only be gained from extensive experence w/ the Z. They test drove, heard some initial rattling, brought it up the lift & made some final adjustments. Headers complemented the Injen exhaust very well. Did not make the sound louder, just a deeper growl & no rasp at all. No, I was not paid to say this. Just a VERY satisfied customer. Can't wait to add Hi-flow CATS!!! Pic's of the install below.
