Well yes, the hand made tig welded pieces are $1100 as are most other custom intake manifolds of this caliber. However, we will be running a group buy and mass producing them, only available through us and will only cost about $500 with no core charge.

that part of this thread is dead. all parties stay quiet; whatever happens happens, it doesnt matter beyond that. if ssr sells a 1100$ plenum for 500$, whos complaining, if they are lieing, then that will come out in time. we dont need to speculate on anything yet.

Just to clear things up, the hand made, tig welded manifolds will retail for $1100. There might be plans down the road to cast this piece which could lower costs substantially. So as of now, the ssr/sfr intake manifold is $1100, or $995 through us.

hummmmm i remember another thread with a 600 dollar claim too...
i sent an email to yall when my version 3 cracked and asked for the 600 dollar price or a sponsorship to just keep it lower than 900 dollars if you werent going to honor the 600 since there wasnt alot of interest and you guys basicly told me to go fly a kite

as a matter of fact i believe your exact words were "if you want our intake youll pay 900 dollars"

wish i would have saved that email

Cost numbers are one thing-what I want to see are dyno numbers, objective dyno numbers. Then I can determine if the cost is worth the benefit. If the plenum in question can give me twice the HP then the Kinetix I'm running now at 1.5 times the price then maybe.
