For those that have the RSR exhaust do you notice a kind of boomy sound between 2500-3500 rpm? I love sound, its just that between that range it sounds strange, hard to explain. Do you know if adding a Y-Pipe makes it worse or better.

 

After having the RSR exhaust, it does have a slight drone between that RPM range. Since I am a sales rep, I typically keep my silencers in during the week and take 2min to take them out for weekend cruising . . . I just wish it was made out of stainless, rather than mild steel (no rusting--2 months, no winters yet ).
Haven't thought about adding a Y pipe either . . .

I thought the canisters were made of stainless sus 304

 

has anyone added a y-pipe to this exhaust or any other exhaust? how much does it change the sound?

actually the exhaust in that pic is of the rsr exmag dual sound that never made it to america unfortunately.
