Nismo, Injen or Borla???
Nismo, Injen or Borla, that is the question??? Which one is right? Duals or Y-pipe?? The dealership mechanics say Y the street guys say duals. I want to keep my low end torque & gain power. Yea, I know, I want it all & for a cheap price, too. Which one if the best way to go, price not being a factor on the exhaust?

Go for looks and sound not power. The gains or losses on all three are comparable and the differences are probably within the margin of error of the dynos and environment.
You can hear sound clips and get a look at them from the SportZ Shootout done last fall:
http://www.sportzmagazine.com/exhaust.html
Don't let the single-Y/dual pipes throw you - the Nismo pipes are larger than the Borla or Injen. The Nismo exhaust is effectively 60% larger than stock, Borla is 100% and Injen only 40%. The bottom line is that you're probably not pushing 40, 60 or 100% more air then exhaust through your engine anyway.
Personally, I chose the NISMO for the sound and the fact that it has a lot fewer pieces than the Borla (3 vs. 17).

I went with injen, I wanted more sound. borla had everything against it, too many peices, not enough volume.
nismo, though I agree with dave, gains are well within dyno error, and individual results will vary, but injen on average is more power, I mean on the scale of <1hp. not really even worth mentioning.
but anyway, sound and looks, if you want lot of sound and dont mind the aftermarket look go injen, otherwise go nismo. unless you absolutely dont want more sound at all, and the cheapest, go borla.

You cannot go wrong with either one.
1. sound : go for Injen
2. performance : Borla, Injen, Nismo all within 1 - 3 hp
3. price on the low end : Borla
4. price on the high end : Nismo
5. Quality : all are top notch
All are damn good and you will get props for any.
If you can snag a good deal between ebay and anyplace, jump on it.
Flip a coin and decide.

Really did you ever see the Injen up close? The quality fitment is perfect, and the welds are superb. Almost everyone on here agrees Injen is one of the best, i have not heard otherwise yet. So if you dont think the quality is good, your one of the few that would think that.
Thanks Glen

I went with the NISMO and i lovve it. It has a very clean sound. The Stillen exhaust is 10 lbs heavier than the NISMO. FYI - Performance Nissan in Duarte,CA is having a sale on NISMO Exhaust for $839. I was going to go with the fujitsubo, but the Y pipe is sold seperately from the exhaust ($450 extra). The Y pipe is included in the NISMO exhaust pagage.
