I am running the Labree resonated test pipes and the GReddy EVO-2 exhaust.....sounds great. It has no ricey rasp at all. A slightly lower bass at the lower rpm's than the stock exhaust but at cruise speed it is not loud at all. Very happy with the combination.

it wasnt so loud that i didnt like it, i loved the sound when i would downshift and come to a stop, the deep rumbling like a race car, i sold the exhaust, thats why i took it off, but the difference is night and day, when i first cranked it up after removing it, i couldnt tell it was cranked, it sounds almost like factory, really i cant even tell i have the test pipes on anymore. except for the occasional smell. and i think the car might even be a little stronger without the injen for my vortech.

have the helix test pipes with the nismo exhaust, when i first had them put on, i wanted them to come off immediately. But after awhile, i kinda got use to the raspiness sound of the exhaust, plus it gets lots of attention. overall, i like the sound of the nismo/helix pipes, almost sounds as though i'm driving a ferrari in a tunnel! lol, i wish........

I have Kinetix test pipes with resonators and Fujitsubo exhaust, the sound was great, not loud or raspy until I installed the Greddy TT now it is very quiet.

I just recently installed Helix test pipes as well. With the EVO II exhuast it brought back my stock sound of exhuast. Just a tad deeper and louder. But in no way obnoxiously loud.

sorry about the double post

test pipes are fun for about a month, but its like youre always trying to avoid cops. Do yourself a favor - if youre N/A get high flow cats, if youre F/I get test pipes with resonators.

right now i'm running RT cats but i want to switch to test pipes. I already have a bad rasp with these cats so i was thinking of just switching to test pipes. My question is, how much louder and how much more rasp will i get running TP's as opposed to the cats? Thanks.

Honestly I would recommend the new Invidia GT 2000 with the Titanium tips. Very Quiet!! Even on Naturally aspirated.
