Default Best Intake and Exhaust - I searched

Hey guys. I'm new here and I actually am doing some research for a customer. I have been reading different posts and I am trying to figure what is going to be the best intake and exhaust for the 350Z, and he has a convertible. It seems that the K&N seems to take the lead in regards to the intake, but are there any other ideas? Also exhaust, not too loud because this is an older guy. Thanks.

If you're looking to make HP, it appears that nothing on the market
right now will make much HP (intake/exhaust).

K&N intake seems like a good design, since it has the cold-air box.
As for exhaust, if he wants something that isn't too loud, look
into Fujitsubo and Apexi WS

I would go with the injen CAI, and a y-pipe keeping the stock exhuast.

I vote for the NISMO cold air intake and for the NISMO exhaust .

But, then again, I am a bit biased...

Injen CAI, Injen true dual exhaust.

If you read the new Sport Z Mag. they do a article on these 2 mods with the crawford plenum. The car with these mod's dyno'd a increase of 19.5 HP and 17.1 lb-ft of torque, and throughout all the dyno pulls, the gains were consistent across the whole power band.

You will get 100 different suggestions from 100 different people.. only way to choose is to do your own research and pick what best suits you!..

talk to people and see what they have.. what pros / cons they have run across with their setups .. would they do something different next time around? ..

the simple question of "which exhaust/intake is best" will be be answered

Someone had a thread with a link to a site that had sound clips of the Injen, Borla, Stillen, and a few more. I heard them all and went with the Borla. Sounds really nice, when you hit it its nice and deep and cruising you can't even tell its there. The Injen was a little too loud for me.
