crawford plenum install question
i made a thread about my plenum (bought used) and got a little off topic when i added this post, so i started a new thread for this subject
i have a question about the install and the parts:
according to the instructions, i'm missing a bunch of parts... can i manage w/ the install if i only have this bolt? (pic below) i think the only extras i have to buy are 2 short bolts to cover the leftover holes on the inside, and the upper plenum + throttle body gaskets (already ordered)
here's a list of the parts in the instructions:
1 Powder Coated Plenum
1 Aluminum spacer tube
1 long M6 10mm bolt
2 short M6 10mm bolts
2 lock washers
2 normal washers
2 Harness relocation holders
1 strut bar (optional)
2 strut bar brackets (optional)
2 Hiem joint connectors (optional)
2 Hiem joint lock bolts (optional)
2 Bracket to bar connecting bolt/nuts (optional)
2 replacement long bolts for bracket (optional)
4 replacement short bolts for bracket
i also have the crawford strut and the 6 bolts needed to install it, other then that i only have this bolt (pic) for the plenum

You could reuse the OEM gasket. One thing I would definitely invest in is some loctite for the two short bolts inside the plenum. If they back out you are royally screwed.
As mentioned above
You will need the 2 short bolts, and the washers associated with them. Also as mentioned above, you should apply Locktight to them. Crawford sends them to the customer with Locktight applied. Those two bolts go under the plenum in the front section - look for three bolt bolt holes in a straight line. The middle one (bolt hole) uses the long bolt and the plenum support you have pictured. The outer two, that the old plenum used to be bolted to, uses the short bolts.
Also, get a gasket, they are cheap, and will give you peace of mind. A throttle body gasket also wouldn't hurt.

i already have the gaskets on order
other then the 2 short M6 10mm bolts that go inside of the plenum to cover the holes there are the parts i am missing, what are these for?
4 replacement short bolts for bracket (?)
2 Harness relocation holders (?)
2 lock washers (don't know what lock washers are)
2 normal washers (which bolts do i use these for)

The 4 short bolts, and the Harness relocation holder is for the replacement STB. You didn't mention whether your keeping that or not. Lock washers are washers that are split (cut) and one of the split edges is like a spring. When you tighten the bolt, the spring action keeps the bolt tight. Normal washers are just flat washers. As I indicated above, use both sets of these washers on the two short bolts under the plenum.
BTW, if you call Crawford, I'm sure Doug Stewert will walk you through it. He's a great guy.
