Speaking of sound . . . the Nismo still has that Porche or Ferrari type sound of the stock system, only it's about 2 notches louder on a scale of 1 to 10. No offense to Borla lovers, but the Borla sound clip I heard has just a hint of that "6 cyl. City Bus" sound that I for one am not too fond of. I say Finding Nismo is the way to go (but what do I know?)

IMHO the Amuse and Fujitsubo are the 2 nicest sounding but its all personal preference. FYI teh Fujitsubo Ti and stainless are very close sounding to one another. Weight wise though, the Ti is much much much lighter!

I noticed that your site doesn't list either exhaust for sale. When do you project the HKS Legamax to arrive?

i have the fuji ti and i really like it....other than that i would've got the amuse....both are very nice but each sounds different. i think sound is what most people are after because you really can't see the exhaust other than the tips....and they all perform basically the same

I can tell you that I LOVE my GReddy EVO II on my G35 coupe - with Kinetix resonated test pipes and Pro-1 headers it sounds mean as hell, yet is very liveable when cruising around town... but it definitely turns heads every time I take off from a stop...

Deeper, louder, more exotic... what more can you ask for?

Go to www.sportzmagazine.com and read about exhaust shootout. Maybe that info will help you, good luck,

too bad, they didn't test Greddy, HKS, Amuse, RS-R, and others.

When Sport Z performed that test and published the article there wasn't as many options as there are now. They may have missed a few, but at the time those were the major players.

All the exhaust system available for the 350Z and G35 DO NOT produce almost the same gains... For instance look at the 5Zigen exhaust in the Sport Z exhaust shootout it produce -3.4 max hp ad that is just one example. The design of the 350z exhaust systems is crucial to produce big gains. A well R & D'd system can produce big gains.

or on the flip side of the scale Turbo Magazine (dec 04 issue) just did a test on the stillen exhaust in which they tested 14 rwhp gain. And according to turbo mag in that article they has tested a couple of other exhaust on the market and they only produced 7-8 hp max.

There are many examples of this out there..you just need to look for it.

Just food for thought.

Are the Amuse and Fujitsubo exhausts good for turbo applications?

I'm selling my Greddy EVO 2 for $700. Goes up all the way to the y. I'm in San Diego if anyone's interested.

I could not disagree more. The 5 Zigen, for example, was a preproduction unit. I dont know how the standard production ones would fare as we have never sold one before. Not a popular exhaust for this car. When you compare apples to apples (ie a true dual vs any cat back + Y pipe combo), you will see that they all do produce remarkably similar gains in both HP and torque...within 2-3 hp and 2-3 ft lbs on average, across the board. If you compare the true duals vs a standard cat back (without an aftermarket Y pipe, which accounts for good gains on this car), you do not get a complete picture at all, and it's easy to be fooled into thinking the duals are "much" better.

DO the research - look at the dynos people have posted with various exhausts...they will all be within a few hp of one another everytime.
