Well ... I tried ....
anyone else want to take my place. I guess you have to be stock.
PS - We don't doubt the potential of the 3.5VQ ... we KNOW what it can do. We have been modding it for 2+ years now.

What kind of numbers will these headers add to a regular person who can only dyno say 3 pulls? 20 whp is too good to be true, and you know how that saying goes....I have i/test pipes/plenum/pulley/exhaust and Im tuned with an ECU, and that "only" gave me 24 whp, I HIGHLY doubt these will give 20 whp alone. And just because you take it to a shop to dyno-it is not an independent dyno-I would love to see somebody buy these and do a before/after dyno who isnt affiliated with these guys, that is the true test...

Boy, I wish I had you guys about 6 months ago to do the R+D on. It was not easy to find a totally stock 350Z. We finally just bought a track model for Nexus and we are also going to start working on a 350Z for Super Street as soon as the parts get in. I know that we have a G35 coupe ready to dyno already and he is coming from TX to do the work. But if it is what it takes no problem, as soon as the parts arrive in December lets do it.
PS. Since I said that you do not have to remove the motor to install (which is true), and it seems someone took notice, I assume that a particular header company requires you to remove the motor to install. I apologize if the comment singled out any other company. Again I congratulate all the companies here that are tuning these cars because if it was not for all of us working on the 350Z it would not be as fun to drive.

DYNO VIDEO CLIPS: AW HEADER
Hey guys I just posted the video clips of the 350Z Alphawerks Racing Development dyno. There is a video of the dyno with the headers and a clip of the exhaust from the rear of the car.
- Clip 1: Dyno w/ headers
- Clip 2: Rear w/ headers
I hope you guys appreciate all the info and help on this topic. This is the effort we put into everything here.

I'm not sure why people are being so negative about these headers. Stop hating on everything and everyone.
I'm interested to see how well these headers will do. If it really makes numbers close to what they claim, this will be a great investment.

Wow, these headers look great. The welds are fantastic and the quality of the piece looks good. If I had the cash I'd plop it down for a set... Although I'd probably have to make sure that if I didn't get close to the gains posted, I could return the product :P. I need to finish out my exhaust setup and headers is the final piece...
