Believe me only racecar drivers at the track like non resinated because they are wearing a helmet and cant hear it.
All they hear is the sweet part of the pipes. Even the test pipes with resinators make that sound every now and then and its anoying!
Call Tony at La Bree 818-704-7950 375.00 shipped and you will have a custom made test pipe with resinator polished and no( bumble bees made of metal in a coffee can) By the way the perfect set up is Tonys test pipes a good Y pipe and a Blitz Nur Cat Back I can guarantee you this is the sound everybody is trying to create. If you can afford it some ceramic DC Sport Headers is the icing on the cake. I have this set up and its perfect everyone who hears my car goes nuts its sounds like my ZX12R with its muzzy. The only expensive part I used was the Blitz about 1000.00 shiped the rest doesnt have to be expensive parts unless your going to supercharge or turbo your car cams ect. good luck get in touch if you like. Oh yeah La Brees never make that raspy horrible sickining broken metal vibrating falling apart ratteling noise.
The LaBree are good BUT still have rasp...Not as much...BUT THEY still rasp...I got rid of them and put on Crawford cats . Had RT cats....gutted RT cats...Labree respnated pipes......and I went back to cats.....Crawford

Go to www.4myride.com ! He sells Helix test pipes and they sound really good. A few of my friends have them on their 350/G35's, and I love the sound. He sells them for $170.00.

And what is it about the rasp that you guys hate? The car is naturally raspy to begin with.

Do the Helix pipes throw a code too?

Cats remove the natural sound of a good sounding exhaust. Tell me the name of a high flow cat that doesnt.
My Blitz was as quiet as stock with cats. And now it can be heard for miles!

I was just wondering about this. The bung on the Helix pipes keep it from throwing the code, right?

I've heard that some newer VIN's still throw codes even with the o2 bungs...

I just got my Labree Resonated Pipes installed, and I am extremely happy. Combined with the JIC II exhaust, there is a real deep and classy purr in the low RPS. When you step on it and you start getting into the higher, the Z really opens up and you get a 3rd background sound (before it was just exhaust and the engine -- now there's that light rasp). Personally, I think it sounds excellent and it was the best investment. I wouldn't go unresonated for sure, however the power gains and the sound are far better than Cats.'

Here's my $.2 cents for ya
