Blitz R-vit

I have one in my G35c. Displays a bunch of info by reading the OBD. It's a neat toy, but I wouldn't say it's overly useful. The update rate is a little too slow. For example, you can set a warning when a temp is too high or voltage is too low.

I have one of these on my Z, and it works great. It's like a mini data logger. Its readouts are great, and you can use it to find out what you need to do to tune the car. REads O2 sensor voltage too, great tuning info.
Use the R-VIT type 1, plugs right in.
how much did everyone spend on theirs?

the r-vit gives you feedback from obd2 readouts this inclues :
air intake temps
water temps
speed
tach
throttle pos.
injector duty
o2 sensor voltage
ingnition timing
ect... total of 20 functions....
also there are peak and hold functions w/ audible warnings. you can view these w/ either 6 different settings at once, or 1 big bar or needle. it also can datalog 99 seconds of material
I hope this helps you out a bit... BTW - GY-Z love the Ti exhaust

Well you can also check how many codes the comp has. so basically you can see what the sensors are reading, and when you hae a check light, the meter can help you pinpoint what COULD be wrong with the car. so i'ts not just a tuning device.

thanks for the advice guys.
If you have a Palm Pilot you can do the same thing with the Auterra system...

can the r-vit be hardwired so its always on... or is it 1 of those things where you plug it in when u want it, cuz seems like you have to plug it into the ciggerate lighter and another end into the OBD-II port.... anyway to just hardwire this thing, and still keep the OBD-II port open?
If this r-vit 1 can read o2 sensors . How do you convert volt readings to a A/F ratio . If it was use dto tune your car . I would have to see rpm and A/F at the same time [ i can get boost readings from My ss box ] and if it reads in volts....is there a conversion chart to use ?
