The R-VIT should get power from the OBD-II input so it's on as long as the accessory power is available.

? what does ^ that mean? i thought power comes from a constant 12V like tapping into the ciggerate lighter, or creating a new fuse for it? and im wondering if you tap into the ECU harness, or do you have to use the OBDII port, becuase then it would look ugly and you would always have a wiring harness sticking out of there.

A close up with the flash on. As you can see, the device is relatively small.

any pics of it mounted in a Z? i like the spot on the G but there isnt any spots like that available on the Z. i have a 04 so the nav compartment door doesnt slide in like on the 03's.... keeping that door open may get a little annoying, might as well end up putting it in there... but want to get some ideas of how others mounted it

It's not VERY slow, but it's not realtime either. For some things, this isn't a problem. But for setting the alarm for the tach, I have to set it lower as the revs might be increasing faster than the R-Vit is sampling.

Looks absolutly great!
I'm waiting for mine (getting it with the Nur Touring Exhaust from Blitz) and install everything at the end of the year.

I thought about another place to hold the monitor. Like on the right side of the wheel. But I'm not sure if that's possible.

Can you take some pic's of the connection with the OBD2 Port? Is it now powered from there or did you use the 12V Battery connection?

Thanks
Toni
