To get Kinetix V.4 plastic plenum or to wait for aluminum?
Does the holes on V.4 line up well with the stock lower plenum?
Does anybody know when the aluminum will come out?

Get the Kinetix v4 plastic plenum. The aluminum one that is going to be released is for forced induction setups and will have maybe 4-6hp increase in N/A motor, which is the same as the V4(and that is a maybe, so it could be even less). So if your going to get a turbo or supercharger in the future get the aluminum one. If you are going to stay naturally aspired, get the v4 plastic one.

I can't understand how the APS one could be any better than the crawford in terms of gains.
I mean, maybe, just maybe it'll handle some crazy 30psi boost while the crawford one might not go quite that high.
what's the word on the APS plenum fitting with the strut bar?
the kinetix one fits with the strut bar, but expands when you do WOT
the crawford one is huge and won't fit the strut bar
If the APS one fits the stock strut bar while being the same size as the kinetix without being able to expand because it's metal - wouldn't that mean the crawford probably boasts the highest gains for a metal plenum?

had the kinetix v4 for 2 weeks. had to re-torque the bolts twice in the first 2 days, but for over a week and half, it's cherry. doesn't sound "plastic-ie" - sounds agressive, and pulling hard!
my mpg dropped to like 16 though.

I was turned off of the plenum after reading about so many issues, but that new APS plenum looks bad a$$. If it is sturdy, I will definitely invest!
Any clue as to how much they are going to charge??

I saw awhile ago where you had to dremmel your engine cover to fit- looks good by the way. Would I have to do that to a Z? Will my engine cover still fit without cutting it??
I have read to many complaints about the Kinetix to buy one right now, I'm sure they do good work, but I'm just leary like that.
It seems that the crawfords are very sturdy, but I kinda thought they were ugly. Plus you have to give up your core. These might seem like little things to some people, but they are pretty important to me.
I don't think that is vendor bashing- that's just my opinion. I enjoy the cosmetics of a mod just as much as the performance.
It sounds like there will only be $5 difference between the two.
