what are the dimensions of the inlet and outlets??
2.5" or 3"???

and how compatible is this with the oem midpipe and cats?

 

ITS COMPLETELY BOLT ON!!!

fits right up to stock exhaust.

the inlet is 2.5 exit is 3 inch im going to be putting a 3 inch pipe from the rear of this kit to the stock resonator and 3 inch out of the resonator or if i can find a 3 inch resonator somewhere

You know, I been buying things just because they are good deals and necessarily because I know what they do? I know little about modding up my car but the bug bit me so I've been doing it. Stupid question for you.

I've seen the terms "test pipes" and "y-pipes" used. Are these two separate items? I was hoping to get Borla True Dual exhaust at some point so should I be getting this y-pipe?

 

if you are eventually gonna get the borla true dual, this ypipe is not needed. any true dual system will not use this ypipe.
test pipes are replacements of the cats.
so the exhaust is basically like this:
headers- cats-ypipe-bpipe-muffler

i just found a cut out so im keeping stock cat back but after this y pipe putting in a 3 inch electric cut out then just do a 3 inch to the stock resonator.

this car im making a sleeper

Sorry to do this but I may have to opt out since I plan to do Borla in the near future unless someone can give me reason to go with the y-pipe versus true dual exhaust. I'm also getting headers from the other group buy. Fyi, I also have a gb on Hawk hps pads if anyone is interested!
