I'm in for $200. Seems like theres quite a few of us that'll go for $200, so I hope they'll do this.

Hi guys,
I have a some questions before I committ to this GB. I looked around for the answers on the forums. However, it has never been discussed with this particular y-pipe. My questions:

1) What are the benefits of this pipe over my stock?
2) Over time will this mod affect my car in negative way?
3) How reliable is this mod?
4) Anything I/we should know about regarding maintenance and care?
5) Will this void my warranty?
6) And last but not least, Gruppe claims a 5-7hp increase. Can anyone verify this with a dyno?

Thank you VERY much

some more... Why are these so much cheaper than other aftermarket y-pipes?
Are these guys some sort of knockoff company? Gruppe-s reminds me of the high quality Gruppe-m products... is there any affiliation?

GROUP s y pipe looks exactly like the fijis. or how ever you spell it. the cost isnt so high because unlike other companies they dont mark up the the price because of the name. its top notch fit and finish.

i raced a stock g35 same as mined 6 speed and a coupe from 50 up with just this mod and it was apparent right away this mod works.

warranty wise my buddy works at infiniti and he said that a after cat system even headers dont void your warranty. but he said if you put headers and keep stock cats and cats burn up then they will say its because of the headers. The y pipe has nothing to do with the cats at all. IM getting the high flow cat set up from these guys anyway because for the price you cant go wrong.

maint and care its like a stock exaust system. after you put it in only thing id do is retorque it in about 100 miles.

hmmmm with test pipes i think it would work great...could the stock mid section be replaced or is it not worth it? Plus isnt the stock muffler really restrictive for this anyways?

So lets say you combine this Y-pipe with the group buy headers and some hi-flow cats. Is there any gains left in replacing the rest of the exhaust, or is sticking with stock the smart move?
