Default Powdercoated Intake Plenum

Hey guys, I picked up a second plenum so I could powdercoat it without downtime on the car since it's my DD so I'll have my OEM plenum sitting around as soon as I swap the two out. This got me thinking, though. I am willing to take my OEM plenum and have it coated with whatever type of powdercoating or whatever color the buyer prefers, I went with an oil-shedding thermal dispersant on the inside with a "brown sugar" textured powdercoat on the outside. They have *tons* of different colors and options and almost anything is do-able. You would have to allow 2-3 weeks for the powdercoater to finish (only took him 1.5 to do mine, just being safe) and if you prefer a special type or premium coating I can work with price as well.

Here's what's included: thermal dispersant coating inside + powder coating of buyer's choice - $200 shipped.

OR, if you only want the OEM uncoated plenum - $100 shipped.

Nice! Just curious if there would be any issue with heat dissipation with new coating?

From what they told me, and they do this stuff a lot - the company is "Engine Armor Performance" - the thermal dispersant should help draw heat out of the air in the plenum and into the aluminum to act as a heatsink.

Sure thing, chances are it'll be the standard price but I'll double check tomorrow. Also: if you're interested, you can do the thermal dispersant coating on the inside AND outside and it should help even more. The textured aluminum would give it that krinkle look. But I'll double check on black krinkle!
