Default Custom Hydro-dipped Center Console w/ Kenwood touchscreen unit

I have mixed feeling about selling these pieces, but have decided for the right price I will let it go.

For sale I have a custom made center console that has been smoothed out and hydro-dipped in a carbon fiber print then topped off with a tinted pearl clear coat. I have also sanded and painted the cubby latch to match the interior as well as prevent scratching that the stock paint is known to do. This is for the '06 - '08 models.

I can also pair it with a basically brand new Kenwood DDX470 touchscreen CD/DVD bluetooth capable receiver. Both the console and receiver were installed about a month ago and has just been sitting in my garage. For the most part it has been unused.

Both are fantastic. The workmanship on the hydrodip is great and the unit is also extremely nice. IMO it is the best non-navigation unit available. In the package I am also supplying the Metra CD bezel kit that has been customized as well, as well as the Metra wiring kit for the unit. Everything you need to complete this project is included.

I have just decided to go another route with the center piece and thought for the right price I am willing to part. I am in no hurry.

Shipped price for the Package: $700.00

Shipped Price for the Kenwood unit w/ the Metra wiring kit: $300.00

For reference purposes this is the pieces *when new* included as well as the amount spent on the project:

Center console bezel: $220.00
Lid / Cubby: $120.00
Shifter Boot Finisher: $120.00
Custom Hydrodipping & Labor: $350.00
Kenwood DDX470 Unit: $350.00
Metra Wiring Harness: $20.00
Metra CD Bezel: $17.00

Total: $1,177.00

I think the purchaser is getting a good deal with this.

Edit: After several low-ball offers and several people backing out I am firm on the shipped package deal.

Will this work with the 06 Grand Touring? Would I be able to take out the cubby portion for the navigation?
If so, I will take everything but the radio/wiring.

Hey guys, I've had several people message me simultaneously wanting the product. Not really sure what to do and I'm wanting to give everyone a chance at it. If you could pm me and make an offer I will sell to highest bidder. Again, it's a great product but I didn't realize I'd get this amount of interest this soon. I'm trying to give everyone a chance at it.

FYI - this will NOT work with the OEM navigation. The bezel is different.

I think they ripped you off with those prices to be honest. I got quoted for the entire center console, outside and inside door handles, steering wheel silver pieces and mirrors at $410 from a local shop.

That's OK, as the OP attempted to "pay it forward", and perhaps he was successful. I quickly PM'd him agreeing to asking price plus shipping, and was told he would now only sell to the highest bidder above asking price. Nice.

I'm coming back in to set things straight.

First off, the actual work done cost $330. Considering I am selling not just hydrodipped work but also the factory Nissan pieces themselves I believe selling for $300 is QUITE a deal.

Next, consider I received SIMULTANEOUS offers on the product from about 5 people, I figured I would leave it up to the buyers if they wanted it, just give me the highest price you would pay and you can have it considering everyone offered the $300. Unless you want me to play duck-duck-goose I figured it was a very sensible way of allowing the person who wanted it to have it.

This is not an auction. But I have about 4 or 5 offers with the same amount. Understand?

NOW that we have that cleared up, these pieces are still for sale as each offer that was given I have PMed back and still have received no word. Maybe the offers fell through, I will give them till this evening to respond if they are still interested. I will post on here if they are still for sale which price will be back at the $300.

I have offered $300 + shipping, and I'm ready to pay right now. PM me, and you can have your payment ASAP. As stated in my PM's, this is a serious, firm, offer, and I'm ready to go. Thanks again.

To set the whole thing straight you should sell it to the first PM offer you received, even if it was 1 second before the next 4 PM's.

Bump, everyone has backed out and I havent heard from a few takers.

Still available and I'm trying to move as a package deal in order to move the Kenwood.

I'm surprised no one has bit on the Kenwood, it's a great unit.

I so want this but I just bought the Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS deck. You sure you don't want to separate it? I never pm'd you cause I thought for sure someone already bought it with all the post on this thread.

Karma sucks, doesn't it? I offered several times, both by PM and in this thread to buy the dash pieces and pay immediately (asking price + shipping), but never got the OK from you because you were holding out for a better deal.

Two days ago I bought all the (used) dash pieces and door trim pieces from Turbo Toys in Tampa, and the same new Kenwood just arrived from Amazon this AM. Sending the pieces to this place to have them dipped:

In any case, your dash pieces look amazing and I can't wait to see how something similar looks in my car. GLWS.

Dcains, you never offered anything for the Kenwood only for the center console. I've had several lower offers for the package deal but turned them down. I also have several higher offers for the center console, I've waited to push a package deal to move the Kenwood.
