Yes, I have an 05 base. You either have to do what I did which was clamp the wires together correctly using a wiring diagram or cut your harness and splice them together or replace your harness all together with a matching "xenon" harness. The reason I just clamped mine was because I wanted the option of being able to pop my old lights back in if I ever wanted to sell the car.
