FS: 08 Nismo Headlights Backed Out STiR Clear Lenses COMPLETE
2008 OEM Nismo Headlights - Blacked Out Housings with STiR Clear Lenses - COMPLETE
SOLD for $500 shipped.
These are the original, OEM headlights off my 2008 Nismo. The headlights are complete, including all bulbs, ballasts, etc. Everything works, just plug in and go. They were removed from the vehicle 5/17/2015 and are already in shipping boxes. These have not been sitting on a shelf collecting dust.
The housings are painted semi-flat black. At the same time I had STiR lenses installed. I also sourced some aftermarket clear lens covers to replace the hazy and road-rashed originals.
The Bad:
A month ago I used a high pressure hose to wash the car, which I think has compromised the lens cover seals. The passenger's side got water in it, but it has since dried up and never fogged up again. The driver's side will fog up when washing the car or when it rains hard. A thin bead of sealant over the existing seal would probably fix the issue, but I never got around to trying, as this didn't bother me too much.
One of the driver's side tabs is broken. I added a fender washer (included in sale) to the bolt in that location and it grips the broken tab pretty well (photo of this below). After this simple trick, the light does not move or shift at all; you cannot tell the tab is broken, functionally or aesthetically.
Please contact me with any questions or if you need additional photos or info.
Thanks,
Brian
