Default Does your Z ping on acceleration?

I have talked to other '02-'03 Maxima owners that have the VQ35 and was wondering if any Z owners are experiencing pinging on acceleration. The car is not under any load with no a/c on. I have noticed that '04+ VQ35's have a digital knock sensor where as the '02-'03 models do not.

please discuss...

My 2006 Enthusiast M/T is pinging and I need to figure out how to get rid of it.

My car is completely stock.

Any ideas anyone?

Get a Conzult scan at the dealership, check the timing, and run high octane fuel.
