Question is this normal?

Hi everyone. My question is, is it normal for the manual Z to SLIP at high (Redline) RPMs? My car does it in every gear ive tried, and the dealer says they dont know what to do??

Please help!!!

what do u mean slip? if u mean ur tires chirp yea thats mostly normal, if you mean your clutch slips thats ur own fault.

If you mean the slip light comes on when you rev it high, then just turn off your TCS.
It is the button above your gas tank release switch. The slip light comes on every time the car thinks the rear tires are losing control and grip. It then uses the brakes to gain control again.

If that is not what you mean, then please elaborate...

what i mean is that the SLIP light comes on. I will turn my TCS off and see what happens. Let yall know tonight.

Do you have the stock wheels and tires? That is normally what throws off the TCS and cause the SLIP light even when the tires aren't spinning.

yes i do have the stock wheels and tires, and i dont know where my TCS on/off is located, but it was dark, so ill try again today.

Haha, it is on the left side of the dash under the steering column. It will say TCS OFF. Push it once, then you will see a yellow part in your gauge cluster that will also say TCS OFF. With that light on you should never see the SLIP light.
