I've been noticing some intermittent hissing sounds in the back of the vehicle when I'm at idle and on the road. I'm figuring it has something to do with the fuel pump but I wasn't sure if anybody else is having this problem. Is this normal?

 

I've heard the same sounds coming from the rear of my car. I remember seeing a post on this site a few months back regarding the same thing and they had indicated that it was the fuel pump. Haven't gotten around to taking it into the dealer though. I figure if it explodes and the car catches on fire, Nissan will be paying for my new 2005 Z
