Default Hesitation at 3800 RPMS

This is mainly for the 5AT guys (Don't know if it happens with the 6MT). I'm noticing a hesitation just under 4k rpms when at more than 3/4 throttle, all gears except 1st (I can't really tell for first because it gets up too quickly). I am currently at 6k miles, but it has happened since purchase. Normal or not?

i have a manual tranny so it doesn't apply to me but i'll take a stab.

when you say 3/4 throttle, could the hesitation be due to your auto tranny downshifting to a lower gear when you apply that much throttle.

my 97 altima used to do this when i gave it moe than enough gas. it hesitates as it downshifts to a lower gear.

I only drive in manual mode (Wanted the stick but the wife can't figure out how to use it). It's not downshifting, just hesitating. Next dealer visit I am going to grab another Z and test it out. Unfortunately I think they made the 05 AT's more G35 like. There is a huge difference in tranny feel between the two......Any other takers???
