I read the stories about the feathering, I don't think I have this. It started out when I would pull into a parking space turning the wheels left. I would hear a loud THUMP like something is in the way . . . or like when you turn a screw too far and it jams up. Then after replacing my front panel it got worse. Now, when i back the car up and turn the wheels left i get the sound every time. Then, i heard it when I hit the brakes hard.

What is going on!!!!!!!!!!
