Default updates on headlight stress fractures?

I know there hasnt been a post on this for a while, but has anyone had any luck getting their headlamps replaced by the dealer without paying for it? Even if their car has over 36K miles on it?

I just noticed these stupid stress cracks all over my drivers-side headlight, and I've heard about people getting them replaced under warranty. Any chance a dealer would do this for me since my car is no longer under warranty. It has 36,500 miles on it, damn!

This is must be a factory defect. I've read countless numbers of threads with people having the same problem. Does Nissan acknowledge this as a legitimate problem, or am I SOL.?

I'd appreciate any updates anyone may have on this problem.
I dont exactly feel like coughing up 1200 bucks for a headlight assembly!

I got mine replaced around 34k miles.. so it was still under warranty. It was pretty tough, and I had to goto the second dealership to get it done. I don't think you got a chance if your car is over 36k miles..
