Unhappy alignment pin when installing new rims...

has anyone had a problem with that alignment pin on the rotor (its between 2 of the bolts). I have an 03 touring.

Can this be removed, and how do you do it? Does one just cut it off? Mine is stripped now (had a hex head on top).

I'm trying to install my new 19" rims, but can't do it because that alignment pin is in the way

Any help will be appreciated. Gotta get the hotchkis springs installed after this problem is fixed.

Thanks.

It's very easy to remove. It just screws right off. Takes 15 seconds.

This is what he is talking about for anyone who doesn't know.

Oops. Sorry, I missed the part where you said it was stripped. Can you just grab the whole thing and turn it with vice grips or something? If not, you'll probably have to drill a hole into it, and reverse thread it out.

Thanks. I had to actually take it to a shop to have them remove it. Only took them 1min., and cost me $40! Oh well. Need to go buy me some tools asap.

I'm going to get the hotchkis springs installed this afternoon.

Can't wait!!!
