Some were talking up SHELL Spirax S gear oils.

part #59226---Shell Spirax S 75 W-90

part #59227---Shell Spirax S 80W-140

Supposed to be industrial strength. Maybe good stuff. Its hard to come by around my local area.

for manual tranny, I think nissan require the use of their 80W-90 tranny fluid..rumor has it that it is Castrol Syntorque.

I have royal purple 75W-90 in my rear differential, awesome stuff, no additional LSD additive neede.

Seems to have been alot of posts in the past concerning changing out tranny fluid to smooth out some of the clunky, "notchy" shifting of the Z. Have not heard or read alot on diff fluid being changed out due to problems with the Z diff or weather factors.

I'm in Colorado and have had excellent results with a blend of Redline MTL and MT-90. It fits the 80W-90 that Nissan specifies for the 350Z and is an excellent synthetic lubricant for gearboxes.
