Unhappy Blue Smoke at 12K Miles!!!!

My wifes 03 Touring averages 6k Miles/Year. I noticed this weekend, when she started the car yesterday a small amount of blue smoke came out of the exhaust My wife drives the car with some agressive acceleration at times but does not redline. Anyway, I check the oil and with 2100 miles since last change, it used 3/4 quart of oil Today, I my dealer changed the oil and filter and wants to monitor the oil consumption. Any thoughts.

See if you can get warranty service done on the seals... oil is definitely burning.

3/4q for 2100miles driven aggressively is not abnormal

You will not get any warranty work done. You should monitor oil consumption though

I am going to follow the oil consumption test, I have to bring the Z in every 500 miles and they will maintain records through the next 2-3K miles. I will do my own prior to make sure of their accuracy. I agree with the seals could be bad. I have never had some many issues with a new car. As long a Nissan continues to replace, repair and service for free I can not complain. They are also providing me with a car everytime I have brought it in.

Yeah there are alot of problems with these cars, but Ill give nissan its props man, other than the blasted tire problem, they have been very helpful and willing to service everyother issue without much hesitation.
