Default Cruise control

ok i've had the car for about 2-3 months now.. and on saturday was the first time i tried using my cruise control.
ok so anyhow.. i press the on button and then press set and theoretically the cruise control is supposed to work.
SADLY IT ISNT WORKING
so now i have to take it back to the dealer..
but before hand i will return the car to stock and prevent them from yelling or scapegoating some of my mods for the cause of it.

keep trying to use it and read the manual... it took me awhile to figure out how to make it cruise. also try holding the set button for about 1 second. it's finicky.

You really have to flip the Set switch fully and deliberately. And I'm assuming you can see the "cruise on" light when you hit the On/Off button before trying to hit the set switch (which will bring on a second light indicating its "set").

i must push the set switch and hold it for about 1 second? and then another set light will come on?

Yes. You should have 2 lights on while in cruise. The middle button on your steering wheel turns it on (notice light turns on near your gas gauge) then flip the top toggle switch above the "on/off" button DOWN to "set" your cruise (2nd light turns on right next to the on light). My 04' doesn't give me ANY problems with cruise. No waiting a few seconds, no flipping it a bunch of times or whatever. Perfect! OH... Maybe you're going to slow? I had a Mercedes that wouldn't let me cruise unless i was in 6th gear and doing more than 45mph. Just a thought?

Ok.. stupid question. You're leaving it in gear and still holding the gas pedal down while trying to put it in cruise correct? And still nothing? Yup.. i'd say it's broke. With there only being one button and one switch to put your Z in cruise, i'd say it's busted.

Check your fuses. That could be the problem.

Press Cruise, then flick the bar/tab downward to set the cruise... after it is set you can adjust the speed by pushing the tab up/down...
