Popping clutch pedal?????
My clutch pedal pops loudly enough for me to hear it over the radio and i can feel it too when i press the pedal down to shift for the 1st 2-6 times i shift when i start the car. I dont know if its the actual clutch or the pedal. My car has only 4k miles on it and is an 05. It will pop even when the car isnt turned on (i can feel it but it isnt nearly as loud). Called the dealer and have an appointment for thursday, they want to keep it all day!!!! I was like, are you sure?? So anyone have any ideas so i can fix it myself? Cluitch isnt slipping at all and the car hasnt been driven hard but it has been driven well. As in no burnouts or donuts but its had a few fast starts
I'm on my second tranny and clutch. Occasionally, I will get a "pop" or hitch at the top of the action when I depress the clutch. I can't get it to repeat, though.
I am very interested in what the dealer says about your condition.

mine is repeatable but only when i first get in the car so ofcourse by the time the dealer sees it they wont be able to get it to happen! Although the way the tech was talking about having it all day it seems like they already have an idea about what the problem is. They better not tell me this is standard bc that thing is LOUD!
oh, i have a 05 as well and at 4000kms i started getting a loud noise when i press the clutch. It sounded like a spring was getting stuck and then when it became unstuck it was hitting metal. It was really loud. I took it to the dealer and, of course, I couldn't repeat the sound when i was there but they lubricated the clutch. It seems to have almost fixed the problem. Maybe a month after i took the car in it made the noise again but only once and it went away. Other then that, the clutch has been fine.
If you can post what the dealer does for you that would be great.

no prob i go tomorrow morning. It only happens when the clutch is just starting to disengage on the way down. It feels just like juklis says except it doesnt sound like a metal clang but a joint popping sound. The first time i heard it i thought it was my own knee bc my foot kindof moved and thats the kindof sound it made, like a loud pop.
