Gear Ratios
Can someone interpret what these ratios really mean?
I am assuming each of these values are x:1
Gear Ratio
M/T A/T
1st 3.794 3.540
2nd 2.324 2.264
3rd 1.624 1.472
4th 1.271 1.000
5th 1.000 0.834
6th 0.794 N/A
Reverse 3.446 2.370
Final Drive Ratio
3.538 3.357
Silverstone Performance

gear ratio (gîr r?shO) noun
The ratio of the speed of rotation of the powered gear of a gear train to that of the final or driven gear. A ratio of engine to axle torque in a motor vehicle.
