Default Seat Wear TSB

I've got an 03 and have wearing on the side bolsters, and someone told me I could get my seats replaced with a TSB.

But I've had my car over 2 years will they still honor that?

Also having occasional grinds in 3rd and 5th, god I hope it's not the tranny bug.. any imput? Going into the dealer tommorow ( freakin windows got stuck 1/2" down )

Thanks,
West.

I've never heard of a seat TSB, unless it's unsafe I doubt they'll replace your seats. Sounds like you do have the tranny bug but the bad thing is they have to be able to replicate it. So good luck! Good luck on the windows too.

I had the seat bolster TSB addressed just recently. It took forever for them to get the parts but they did do it under warranty. They do NOT replace the seats. They replace just the fabric on the driver's side seat bolsters...nothing more. Sure it looks better, but the *** of the seat is worn as well and that's not covered.

What about leather seats? The driver's seat looks like it's cracked, even though I condition the seat at least once a month.

The TSB is only for the cloth seats.

maximZ,

I think the correct terminology would be "El Cheapo Seato". haha. Well I guess it's held up ok for 30k miles.

Listen, I took in my 03 Z with burnt orange leather seats for premature wear on the seat bolsters, like the leather was rubbing off. Before I went in, I checked out some used Zs they had on the lot and they had it too!! THey re-upholstered my seats UNDER WARRANTY...premature wear. Those of you with leather issues can have it fixed depending on the dealer. Lets face it, a 2 or 3 year old car should not have worn out seats. They maybe should look like that after 10 years.
