Default Help! Installing license plate bolts.

my 350z didnt come with bolts. Now that I have my plates, I cant figure out how to install them. What do I have to remove to install the license plate bolts? any help is appreciated. Thanks.

there are 2 small dimples in the front bumper immediately in front of the threads tapped into the metal underneath.
Take a drill- preferably a cordless one on low speed and slowly and gently drill out the plastic cover to reveal the threads underneath. Then you will have to try different bolts until you find the right size. I'm sure it's metric and a fine thread.

Thanks! Wow, I didnt think they would make me drill into my car to install it.

Anyone know how to install the Rear License plate bolts?

Yeah, I should. But the nissan dealer tried to rip me off once already. So i figure the second best people to ask are 305z owners. So anyone know how to do this?

I recommend that you get the non drilled 350Z front liscence plate mount, instead of drilling into the your fresh smooth new bumper!
