Smile Gas Pump problem/issue

Hey guys..new guy here..just picked up a new 2005 Base 350z(White)last month and am absolutely loving it. Have had one problem though...I've had problems getting gas pumps to work when I'm trying to fill up my tank. I live in the Bay Area and use Shell(have used only Shell on all my cars for over 10 years) stations...and yes I'm using premium gas(91 in CA) which is what I use on all my cars. What happens is I start to pump and the automatic shut off on the handle clicks off after 10 seconds or so. Like the gas tank is full or something...I've tried manually pumping and it just keeps clicking off. Even moved to 3 different pumps at 1 local station and 2 at another and had same problem. Funnily enough, at a Shell station in the next city over I've had NO problem at all. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this. I am pretty sure it's something to do with the car because I've used these same local stations to fill up my other cars and had no problems at all. Thanks for your help in advance.

Yep had that problem too sometimes. Try to not put the nozzle all the way in.

I've tried that and just about everything I can think of at these pumps...it helped for a little bit but still couldn't get a full tank...the most I got out of it was maybe 4 gallons.

This has been addressed many times, so much that Nissan actually has a service bulletin about it:

People have noticed improvement if you stick the nozzle in upside down.
