Mine is worn at 9 o'clock. I have garaged every night or when not in use and stored during the winter. I think it's wear from holding it tightly with sweaty hands on the racetrack. Planning to go to the dealer in a few weeks...

This is cool I found this thread. I took mine into the dealership cause the wheel on my 03 was waering off at the 11 o'clock position. I took it in and 15 minutes later they had already ordered me a new steering wheel. Also ordered me a brand new shift **** too cause the aluminum on the top of the shifter was flaking off. Gotta love good dealerships.

Same here. Went into Performance Nissan, and the service guy looked at it and said no problem, and ordered a new steering wheel. Should be here sometime this week

Good news - I took my 2004 Roadster into Douglas Nissan of Orange yesterday and mentioned the wheel. They ordered the part and I should have it in the next two weeks. No hassle at all.

I got mine replaced last week. It was not a problem.
I'll wear driving gloves on the track starting next season...
