Default Burning clutch...

My car has recently started emitting a slight burning clutch smell after the car is shut off... Regardless of spirited driving or girly driving. Is this normal or is this something i should get checked out ASAP? Thanks.

Check and see if you have had a plastic bag stuck on your exhaust or cats. I had a bad burning smell and found part of a plastic bag stuck on the exhaust. Nasty smell.

Default Burning Clutch...

Not only do I have a burning clutch smell, here is something interesting that happened while I was giving a relative an "Oh ****" ride on Christmas Day.

I was at a stand still, revved the enging to about 3500 rpm, dropped the clutch and lo and behold the clutch pedal stayed in the same position as if I had my foot on it, in other words it was stuck!?!?!?!? I let off the accelerator, and it came back, pushed the clutch back in, hit the accelerator and it did it again. This happened twice more???????????????

I have never had that experience before with any manual transmission car before. Have not taken it to service dept. yet due to time conflicts. Can anyone shed some light on this? Ever since, the cars performance seems off and if I am in a parking lot with quite a few speed bumps that requires me going slow and clutching alot, I am getting a really bad clutch odor.

I am really puzzled with this one. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? It would be greatly appreciated.

I've also experienced a similar problem, under severe braking and down shift the clutch pedal stayed depressed. "is this a saftey feature to prevent over rev? " from that point forward There has been a clutch smell. Any feed back would be great.

Silver stone tour.
K&N drop in.
3500 miles

Default scirocco...

My local painter did the work. I forgot to bring my pics, but will post tomorrow. It is the factory Nissan paint (not cheap), he added a significant amount of flex agent to the plastic components so it would not peel off. The battery compartment cover, the brake fluid compartment cover and the black shroud over the pulley with the Nissan logo and the V6 3.5L on it that were done. Al three parts were taken off and done in the paint shop booth.

Go to the Rocky Mountain Radar website for info on the detector/jammer. My opinion, it works really well.
