Default Driver side Window Prob?

I drove my 04 350Z off the lot on 06 Nov 03 So, almost 2yrs have gone by(10256 miles)...now all of a sudden, my driver's side window, when using one touch-up mode, will stop almost @ the top & come back down to about 2/3's up position, very aggravating !!! Anyone else had this problem or am I the only lucky one?

I had to get my drivers side window motor reset twice in 1.5 years due to this problem. Sometimes the window would roll halfway when I would just close the door too!

I just took mine in and they fixed it. All they do is reset some switch (which you can do yourself). The very next day it did it again. Bastards....

Where is this switch...I would like to try myself first, before taking it to a dealership & have them dirty up the interior, scratch it or just breathe on it wrong Thanks for any help! Ciao.

I've heard this is a sign that your window motor is going out. I'm having mine replaced for this reason for the 2nd time on friday. Good thing I caught it, cause my warranty is out next week.

I had this fixed at the dealer but was told that it was not covered by my warranty. I thought that was odd.

Same here. They covered it the first 3 times under the original warrenty , but it's broke again at 62K and they wont cover it under the 100K warrenty

I don't know if this is the same problem but my window just won't go down some times. I have to open the door and push down on the window a little and then it will work fine. It just started that.

Mine went out at aprox. 37,000. Nissan wouldn't cover it due to the factory warranty being out at 36K. I turned it in to my extended warranty company and they did cover the cost of the repair less my $50 deductable. I now have 43K on the car with no window problems.
